I must confess. I love Google Maps. And while I still aim to effectively read a map and avoid the trapping of GPS, I have been known to employ it on more that one occasion (minus that time in Chicago when I knew a left turn would an irrevocably terrible idea.) My favorite feature is the street view, the ability to virtually travel through an area and explore having never been there. That was why I was quite chuffed to discover that someone had traveled many of the roads in Kenya, including the C23. This is the main road that goes through Litein. Click on the picture and you can explore it for yourself.

Take a look around. I hope that these scenes are as welcoming to you as the people who live there were to us. I wanted to share them with you as this is the landscape that our family, Lord willing, shall soon be traversing as the backdrop to our lives.
Peace,
Derek
